Kia Ora! Rebecca here, otherwise known as Kiwi to my friends. Born and raised in New Zealand, I took the big OE around the world in my 20's traveling to some amazing places before eventually finding my way to San Diego, which has been my home ever since.
My background is mostly in the arts and photography, but my latest venture in dance has to be my favorite. I founded La Vie Dance & Culture in 2015, and moved to our current location in 2019. I opened our sister studio, Movement by La Vie, in July of 2024, just one block away.
THIS IS MY JOY. Providing safe spaces for people to share, learn, and grow within the arts, for all ages and all demographics. A place for us to share and preserve our cultures. A place for community!
